Our House

Some of my colleagues in Omaha kept saying that we must buy a house because this is the best if not only way to save money. We did not really think we should be saving anything, but you know, if everybody around you tells you something, eventually you will at least consider the idea. In the end of Summer 2000 Gosia said we should window shop for neighbourhoods and houses. That did not require a lot of effort, so I agreed. One day in October we went to a neighbourhood called Lake Cunningham Hills and there were some houses on sale. We saw one, then another one and in the third one Gosia decided: we are buying it!!! She was serious, we went through all the process and on December 1, 2000 we became the proud owners of a house. A house and a lot of problems associated with it. (Well, of course this is our bank that actually owns the house...)
